Basketball Recap: Dundee-Crown Comes Up Short

Dundee-Crown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Larkin Royals. The Chargers were probably out for revenge after losing 58-44 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dundee-Crown's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Larkin, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-13.

Dundee-Crown and Larkin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Dundee-Crown will take on Mundelein at 7:00 p.m. on Monday down 395 places (553 vs. 158). Meanwhile, Larkin (ranked 367th) will meet Freeport (ranked 118th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
