Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Taylor Titans
The Delphi Community Oracles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taylor. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Delphi Community in their matchups with Taylor: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Oracles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Almager, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Walter Gleason, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Taylor found their leader in underclassman Javionne Harris, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Connor Binnion, who scored nine points along with five assists.
Delphi Community's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Taylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Delphi Community will be home for the holidays to greet Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to face off against Delphi Community at 7:30 p.m.
