Basketball Game Preview: Lisbon Greyhounds vs. North Yarmouth Academy Panthers

The Lisbon Greyhounds will challenge the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lisbon comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Saturday, Lisbon took a blow against Oak Hill, falling 63-31.

Meanwhile, North Yarmouth Academy took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 51-21 win over Waynflete.

North Yarmouth Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.2 points per game. As for Lisbon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.

Lisbon took a serious blow against North Yarmouth Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2021, falling 83-13. Can Lisbon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
