Softball Game Preview: Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks vs. StoneBridge Cavaliers

After both having extra time off, the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks and the StoneBridge Cavaliers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlantic Shores Christian will be strutting in after a victory while StoneBridge will be coming in after a defeat.

Atlantic Shores Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Hampton Christian Academy 17-7 last Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Seahawks needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, StoneBridge was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to Peninsula Catholic.

StoneBridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4.

Atlantic Shores Christian took their victory against StoneBridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
