Basketball Recap: Brennan Skates Past Stevens with Ease

Brennan won the last time they faced Stevens and things went their way on Friday too. The Bears blew past the Falcons 78-47. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

Brennan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Talon Todd out in front who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points. That's the most points Todd has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Ward, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 16 points and five boards.

Brennan was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stevens only racked up five.

Despite the loss, Stevens still got an impressive performance from Bakari Brown, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and five rebounds. Richard Guerra was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Brennan is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.4 points over those games. As for Stevens, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Brennan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 85-44 victory against Taft on the 13th. As for Stevens, they have also already played their next game, a 47-45 win against O'Connor on the 13th.
