Football Recap: Green Street Academy Chargers vs. SEED
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Green Street Academy can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 13-12 to the SEED SEED. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as SEED apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Although Green Street Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Sean Watts and Jayden Parker.
Green Street Academy wouldn't let SEED keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Chase Wingfield, Rashawn Brewer, and Kyliq Ricks picked up one apiece.
With the defeat, Green Street Academy broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5. As for SEED, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Green Street Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for SEED, they will challenge Northern Garrett on Friday. Northern Garrett is coming into the match with three straight wins on the road, so SEED will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
