Basketball Recap: Towson Generals vs. Hereford Bulls
Even though the Towson Generals have not done well against the Hereford Bulls recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Towson took down the Bulls 51-33. For Towson, this counts as revenge for the 64-56 loss the Bulls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Towson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Seven Wheeler, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braden Renner, who scored 13 points along with six assists and two steals.
Towson's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Hereford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Towson will head out on the road to square off against the Comets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Catonsville is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. Hereford's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Vikings on February 7th. Lansdowne has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18.
