Centralia extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 9-1. They blew past the Eldon Mustangs 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

As for Eldon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Centralia since April 21, 2018.

For Eldon's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Gernenz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Looking ahead, Centralia will take on Macon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eldon, they will challenge Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
