Basketball Recap: Waynesboro Takes a Loss

Waynesboro lost against Riverheads back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waynesboro Little Giants fell 69-56 to the Riverheads Gladiators. The Little Giants' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Waynesboro's record now sits at 2-18. As for Riverheads, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waynesboro will head out to face off against Staunton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Waynesboro is facing Staunton at the right time seeing as Staunton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverheads, they are taking a road trip to square off against Wilson Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
