After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pineville, Alexandria was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Glenmora Wildcats a 15-0 shutout. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

Ella Melder and Mary Claire Brinkman were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Melder tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Brinkman pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single walk in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Melder went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple, while Brinkman scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Amiyah Wilson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Turner, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.
