Hoosac Valley took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Mount Greylock Regional, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hurricanes came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mounties on Thursday, sneaking past 8-7. The win was familiar territory for the Hurricanes, who have now won three matches in a row.

Hoosac Valley's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Hoosac Valley will square off against McCann Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mount Greylock Regional, they will take on Monument Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
