Memphis Central came out on top against Germantown on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Warriors took their contest against the Red Devils 5-2. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Patrick Ryan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Memphis Central's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was James Bernard, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Memphis Central's record is now 11-6-1. As for Germantown, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-9.
