Charles Henderson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Greenville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Trojans put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-1 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slocomb). They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over Northside Methodist Academy on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Tops as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Molly Mcgowan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Mcgowan was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
