Benet Academy won the last time they faced Nazareth Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Redwings were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Roadrunners. Winning may never get old, but the Redwings sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Hannah Baer, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marikate Ritterbusch, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Benet Academy pushed their record up to 13-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Nazareth Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benet Academy will host Marist at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The RedHawks' pitching crew has only allowed 1.1 runs per game this season, so the Redwings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Nazareth Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Serena at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
