New Lothrop came tearing into Monday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-38 W against the Hemlock Huskies. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 47-27 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hemlock's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Stockford, who posted nine points. What's more, Stockford also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Victoria Hauffe, who earned 12 points and five rebounds.

New Lothrop's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Hemlock, they moved to 21-4 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

New Lothrop has already played their next contest (against Lumen Christi Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hemlock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
