Baseball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Geneva's offense. They came up short against the Wayne Eagles on Tuesday, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Geneva now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wayne, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Coming up, Geneva will head out to face off against East at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Wayne, they will take on School of the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
