Basketball Recap: Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles came up short against the Legacy Academy Silverbacks and fell 47-38. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Legacy Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eden Griffis led the charge by dropping a double-double on 13 points and 18 boards. The dominant performance gave Griffis a new career-high in points. Briley Boll was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Legacy Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
