Football Game Preview: Colo-NESCO Royals vs. Baxter

The Colo-NESCO Royals will take on Baxter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Colo-NESCO put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 66-18 win over Meskwaki Settlement. The Royals not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30, 2024 (when they won 48-0).

Meanwhile, Baxter lost 54-32 to Moravia on Friday.

The victory got Colo-NESCO back to even at 3-3. As for Baxter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Colo-NESCO came out on top in a nail-biter against Baxter when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 50-48. Do the Royals have another victory up their sleeve, or will Baxter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
