Basketball Recap: Hall Comes Up Short

Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 50-31 bruising from the Galena Pirates.

Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Galena, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hall will welcome Erie-Prophetstown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hall is facing Erie-Prophetstown at the right time seeing as Erie-Prophetstown is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Galena, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against River Ridge/Scales Mound at 7:15 p.m. Galena has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
