Soccer Game Preview: Cypress Ranch vs. Langham Creek

The Cypress Ranch Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Langham Creek Lobos at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Langham Creek took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cypress Ranch, who comes in off a win.

Cypress Ranch will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Bridgeland, who they had gone 0-7-2 against in their nine prior meetings. Cypress Ranch had just enough and edged Bridgeland out 1-0. The Mustangs' winning goal came courtesy of Addison Shih.

Meanwhile, Langham Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Cypress Lakes, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Lobos were already down 4-1.

Cypress Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those eight matchups. As for Langham Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Everything went Cypress Ranch's way against Langham Creek in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Cypress Ranch made off with a 4-0 victory. Does Cypress Ranch have another victory up their sleeve, or will Langham Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
