Basketball Game Preview: Conneaut Spartans vs. Edgewood Warriors

Conneaut is 0-10 against Edgewood since December of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Conneaut Spartans will face off against the Edgewood Warriors at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Conneaut is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game on Tuesday. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wickliffe.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jordan Kulko, who posted 19 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Noah Hamm was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Edgewood ended up a good deal behind Harvey on Tuesday and lost 77-58.

Edgewood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Conneaut, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Conneaut ended up a good deal behind Edgewood in their previous meeting back in January, losing 78-60. Can Conneaut avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
