South Oak Cliff is a perfect 7-0 against Jefferson since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Patriots at 7:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Oak Cliff has seven straight wins, Jefferson has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Jefferson's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Thursday: South Oak Cliff hadn't allowed a single point the last six times they've hit the field. The Bears simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Samuell 55-0. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 44 points or more this season.

South Oak Cliff's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Corde Fields, who rushed for 105 yards and one score. Those 105 rushing yards gave Fields a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Levon Morton, who rushed for 81 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Oak Cliff was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 360 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Samuell only rushed for ten.
South Oak Cliff didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Isaish Udom, Malvin Davis, and Jamari Stewart picked up one apiece. Kordae Houston was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They were dealt a 49-0 loss at the hands of Seagoville on Friday. The shutout was out of character for the Patriots seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for South Oak Cliff, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: South Oak Cliff has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 412.1 total yards per game. It's a different story for Jefferson, though, as they've been averaging only 194.8 total yards. Will South Oak Cliff be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Patriots flip the script?
