Basketball Recap: All Saints Episcopal School Patriots vs. Sands Mustangs
After flying high against Crosbyton last Saturday, All Saints Episcopal School came back down to earth. The All Saints Episcopal School Patriots took a 51-33 bruising from the Sands Mustangs on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-15 two weeks ago.
Lauren Brashear and Hannah Owen certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Brashear went 7 for 15 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds, while Owen posted four points in addition to 11 rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, Owen is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Jeanelle Imiere, who posted three points and seven rebounds.
