Baseball Recap: South Callaway Takes a Loss

South Callaway made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Licking, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

South Callaway now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Licking, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, South Callaway and Licking will both be playing Hallsville the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Indians at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
