Softball Recap: Minnesota Valley Lutheran Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Minnesota Valley Lutheran's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Martin County West Mavericks on Saturday. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 10-8 to the Mavericks when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Martin County West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 25-8 victory against Sibley East on the 15th. Martin County West has also already played their next contest (against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
