Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rocky Boy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds 93-53. The victory was familiar territory for the Northern Stars who have now won five matchups in a row.

Rocky Boy is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Hays-Lodge Pole, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky Boy will take on Shelby at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rocky Boy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Hays-Lodge Pole, they will face off against Fort Benton at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th.
