Volleyball Recap: Eastmark Has No Trouble Against Crismon

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against ALA - Queen Creek, Eastmark was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crismon Rattlers. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Firebirds this season.

While Eastmark won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Arjun Sagoo, who had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Despite the loss, Crismon had strong showings from Joshua Marquez, who had ten digs and one assist, and Aiden Arnett, who had 24 assists and nine digs. Arnett has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last ten times he's played.

Eastmark's record now sits at 4-2. As for Crismon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Eastmark didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Desert Vista on the 28th. As for Crismon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Del Sol on the 28th.
