If St. Petersburg was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Boca Ciega last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Devils came up short against the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Green Devils' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

While St. Petersburg had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.

Abigail Buffington paced St. Petersburg's offense, picking up nine kills. Buffington got some help from Annika Xenakis and her 30 assists. Miley Moore controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
