Basketball Recap: Hoboken's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Hoboken won the last time they faced North Bergen and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hoboken Redwings came out on top against the North Bergen Bruins by a score of 53-42. Given the Redwings' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Bruins are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hoboken is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for North Bergen, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoboken will take on Snyder at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Bergen, they will face off against Kearny on Saturday.
