Esparto kept a clean sheet against San Juan on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the San Juan Spartans with a sharp 7-0 victory. David Martinez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win (which was Esparto's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three games. As for San Juan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Esparto will square off against Woodland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Juan, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lindhurst is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
