Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask El Capitan). They blew past the Valhalla Norsemen 19-5 on Wednesday. The Vaqueros not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 3, 2024.

Kane Bartley was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. David Vera was another key player, going 4-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

El Capitan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

El Capitan's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Valhalla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: El Capitan beat Valhalla by a score of 7-4 on Friday.
