Baseball Recap: Hampton Takes a Loss

Hampton managed to slip by South Greene the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 15-2 to the Rebels on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 8-6.

Hampton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Royston, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Hampton's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10. As for South Greene, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Hampton will venture away from home to square off against North Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Greene, they will face off against University School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
