It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Springfield had no problem doing just that on Monday. They snuck past the Annandale Atoms with an 85-79 win. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

West Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Annandale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Looking ahead, West Springfield won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Potomac at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Annandale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
