Southern Nash is 9-1 against Hunt since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Firebirds will host the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Southern Nash has 13 straight wins, Hunt has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, Southern Nash earned a 6-2 victory over Roanoke Rapids.

Meanwhile, Hunt fell victim to Fike and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Demons, falling 24-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Demons since April 29, 2021.

Southern Nash pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Hunt, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
