Firelands has gone 8-2 against Clearview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Firelands Falcons will head out to take on the Clearview Clippers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Clearview waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 71-60 win over the Hurricanes. That's two games straight that the Clippers have won by exactly 11 points.

Clearview's win came from a few key players Firelands will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Deacon Delgado, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cy Christensen, who went 6 for 13 en route to 17 points.

Clearview was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Clearview is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Firelands, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Firelands strolled past Clearview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 54-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Firelands since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
