Basketball Recap: Hurley Takes a Loss

Hurley lost against Mellen back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hurley Northstars took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mellen Granite Diggers.

Hurley has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Mellen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hurley will welcome Solon Springs at 7:15 p.m. on February 10th. As for Mellen, they will take on Lac Courte Oreilles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
