Softball Recap: Pioneer Has No Trouble Against Baldwin Park

After only one run in their last game, Pioneer made sure to put some runs up on the board against Baldwin Park on Friday. Everything went the Pioneer Titans' way against the Baldwin Park Braves as the Pioneer Titans made off with a 19-4 win. The Titans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Pioneer back to even at 2-2. As for Baldwin Park, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will challenge Loara at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loara has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something Pioneer will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Baldwin Park, they are taking a road trip to take on Workman at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin Park has given up an average of 16.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
