Volleyball Recap: Northfield's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Northfield was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southern Wells on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Norsemen took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Adams Starfires on Saturday. The Norsemen haven't had much luck with the Starfires recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-8.

Emily Miller paced Northfield's offense, picking up four kills. Miller got some help from Callie Hoffman and her two assists. Kyra Aderman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northfield fell to 2-1. As for South Adams, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Northfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rochester on the 23rd. As for South Adams, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against North Miami on the 23rd.
