Ferris has gone a perfect 8-0 against Shadle Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Saxons are taking a road trip to face off against the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. Ferris will be strutting in after a win while Shadle Park will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Ferris turned things around against Mead on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 2-1.

Meanwhile, Shadle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Gonzaga Prep, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Shadle Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Gonzaga Prep are ranked 76th).

Shadle Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Ferris, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-9.

Everything went Ferris' way against Shadle Park in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Ferris made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saxons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
