Football Recap: Oak Ridge Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Oak Ridge had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the Frontier Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-7 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Titans are ranked 75th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oak Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaac Pierce led the charge by picking up 91 receiving yards and one TD. Tyler Andujar also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Looking ahead, Oak Ridge will head out on the road to square off against Mission Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Frontier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
