Volleyball Game Preview: Weston Ranch Cougars vs. Bear Creek Bruins

The Weston Ranch Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Bear Creek Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Weston Ranch duked it out with Ben Holt College Prep Academy on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weston Ranch took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Bear Creek got the win against Tokay on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

While Bear Creek won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 25-18.

Bear Creek pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Weston Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Weston Ranch might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Bear Creek in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
