Softball Recap: Kirtland Hornets vs. Independence Blue Devils
Kirtland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Independence Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kirtland of the 24-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Wednesday.
Addison Fleming was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
