Badger won the last time they faced Burlington and things went their way on Friday too. The Badgers blew past the Demons, posting a 65-35 victory. The Badgers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 2nd (when they won 85-50).

Badger's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Jooss, who posted 11 points. Jooss is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maelynn Smith, who put up 11 points.

Badger smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive matchups.

Badger's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Burlington, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Badger will square off against Beloit Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Badgers' defense better be ready for this one: the Purple Knights have averaged an impressive 59.8 points per game this season. As for Burlington, they have already played their next contest, a 65-45 loss against New Berlin West on the 9th.
