Softball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Glendale Nitros.

St. Mary's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Glendale, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4-1.

Coming up, St. Mary's Academy will be playing at home against Sacred Heart of Jesus at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glendale, they will head out to challenge Mountain View at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glendale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.
