Basketball Recap: St. Thomas Episcopal Saints vs. Marian Eagles
St. Thomas Episcopal won the last time they faced Marian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Saints walked away with a 66-54 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.
Marian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lamonte Butler, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Butler is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least ten boards the team is 6-3 (and 4-5 when he doesn't).
