Baseball Recap: Marshfield Gets the Win

After losing to Waunakee the last time they met, Marshfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers skirted past the Warriors 13-11. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Marshfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Waunakee, they moved to 8-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will venture away from home to face off against Wausau West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Waunakee, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Holmen on the 17th.
