Volleyball Recap: West Platte Beats Diamond for Their Fourth Straight Win

West Platte posted their closest victory since August 30th on Saturday. They skirted past the Diamond Wildcats 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bluejays sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Catelyn Carlson paced West Platte's offense, picking up 13 kills. Carlson got some help from Amber Rutherford and her 27 assists. Rutherford also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Nora Meyerkorth, each putting up two.

West Platte's win bumped their record up to 10-8-1. As for Diamond, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

West Platte has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lamar on the 20th. As for Diamond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Cassville on the 22nd.
