Volleyball Recap: Lapeer Takes a Loss

Lapeer lost against Mt. Pleasant back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lightning took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oilers. The Lightning have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Pleasant's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kharman Loya, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Lapeer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lapeer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Utica on the 20th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Skyline on the 20th.
