Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon Victorious

Mt. Vernon won the last time they faced Wapsie Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Mt. Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Wapsie Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mt. Vernon will square off against rival Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wapsie Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Grundy Center at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
