Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Canton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Winnsboro by a score of 49-46. The Eagles have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Brownsboro, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
